La Crosse Chapter of ASHRAE
ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers is an international organization of 50,000 persons with chapters throughout the world. The Society is organized for the sole purpose of advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration for the public's benefit through research, standards writing, continuing education and publications.

Activities of the La Crosse Area Chapter include
- Monthly meetings and technical program opportunities
- Sponsorship of a $400 scholarship at Western Wisconsin Technical College (WTC) and a $400 scholarship at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC)
- Sponsorship of student ASHRAE chapters at WTC and CVTC
- Promotion of engineering at approximately 10 local area high schools
- Co-sponsorship of a Coulee Region engineering scholarship to a graduating senior student pursuing a 4 year engineering degree
- Contribution to ASHRAE Research, including four memorial donations
- Recognition of a Member-of-the-Year award
