Chapter Awards:

2007-08 Chapter Member of the Year
The Board of Governors selected Rick Heiden as the Chapter Member of
the Year. In addition to his duties as President-Elect and Honors &
Awards chair, Rick stepped up to handle chapter Treasurer duties when
the previous Treasurer was unable to fulfill them. Rick also went above
and beyond to help with other miscellaneous chapter

2007-08 Chapter Program of the Year
The Program Committee selected the March program by Dr. Victor
Goldschmidt, titled “Differing Perspectives Into Ozone Depletion and
Global Warming, as the best program of the year.
National Awards:
The Honors and Awards Committee is appointed by the President-Elect.
This committee should include the chair and at least two additional
members, preferably past chapter presidents.1
