La Crosse Area Chapter of ASHRAE

ASHRAE is an international organization of 50,000 persons with chapters throughout the world. The Society is organized for the sole purpose of advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration for the public’s benefit through research, standards writing, continuing education and publications.

Activities of the La Crosse Area Chapter include

 

  • Monthly meetings and technical program opportunities

  • Sponsorship of a $750 scholarship at Western Wisconsin Technical College (WTC) and a $750 scholarship at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC)

  • Sponsorship of student ASHRAE chapters at WTC and CVTC

  • Promotion of engineering at approximately 10 local area high schools

  • Co-sponsorship of a Coulee Region engineering scholarship to a graduating senior student pursuing a 4 year engineering degree

  • Contribution to ASHRAE Research, including four memorial donations

  • Recognition of a Member-of-the-Year award

How do I sign up?

ASHRAE offers several membership grades: Member, Associate Member, Affiliate Member, and Student Member. If you are unsure as to what grade you may be, simply click here and you will be redirected to the ASHRAE website explaining the various grades. If you already know and are ready to sign-up, you can click here and access the ASHRAE online membership form or download a membership application. Instructions for each of these methods are detailed on their respective web pages. Also, feel free to speak with the Membership Chair for La Crosse or any other board member.

Pay Chapter Dues

IF you did not pay chapter dues ($40) when you renewed your annual membership with ASHRAE, you can pay them via our store.
